Low-Carb Chocolate Pancakes
Decadent, healthy and guilt-free, with ridiculously low carbs Nutrition (per pancake) Carbs: 9.5 g Fiber: 4.25 g Net carbs: 4.25 g Calories: 160 Cal (A similarly-sized regular pancake has 25g net carbs) Ingredients (per pancake) -1 tablespoon almond flour (the best one we've had is Bob's Red Mill Almond meal/flour - See link to the left) -1 tablespoon coconut flour (the best one we've had is Bob's Red Mill Almond meal/flour - See link to the left) -0.5 tablespoon 100% cocoa powder -1/8th teaspoon baking powder -1 teaspoon sugar -3 tablespoons 2% milk -1 egg Instructions 1) In a mixing bowl, whisk the almond flour, coconut flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, sugar, milk and egg until well mixed 2) In a small saucepan sprayed with spray vegetable oil, pour the mixture 1/8th of an inch thick, and cook on medium heat until solid. Flip over. |
